CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. —

A restaurant on Route 74 in Cleveland County is damaged after a fire broke out late Saturday night.

Red Bridge's barbecue in Shelby caught fire under its roof and damaged cooking pits.

According to a Battalion chief, grease spilled out on one of the hot wood grills which sparked the flames.

The estimated cost of damages is around $5,000.

At least one employee was inside at the time of the fire. They were able to contain the fire while calling 911.

No one was hurt.
