Firefighters Rescue 2 Trapped In Car; 1 With Life-Threatening Injuries

 

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Firefighters rescued two people Saturday trapped inside a car in West Charlotte.

Police said the driver lost control around 7 p.m. and ran off the road on West Morehead Street at Suttle Avenue and slammed into a light pole.

Rescue crews had to cut the roof to get the couple out.

Both victims were taken to the hospital. One of the victims has life-threatening injuries.
