Lancaster County Flu Shot Locations

County health officials are gearing up for local flu clinics this week. Flu vaccine, which was in short supply last year, will first be given to those most at risk. After Monday, vaccine will be available to the general public from the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control.

Most county health departments will offer the vaccine by appointment during regular clinic hours, as long as vaccine is available. Cost is $15 and is covered by Medicare and Medicaid for those eligible.

All clinics are pending availability. DHEC is just one of the many flu vaccine providers in the state, said DHEC spokesperson Clair Boatwright. Click here to use the Carolina Medical Review's "Flu Clinic Finder" to find other sources.
