Huntersville Shooting Victim Released From Hospital

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. —

A shooting victim from Huntersville is out of the hospital, but police are still looking for the man who shot him, police said.

Officers said the two men were arguing around 7 p.m. Saturday night near a pay phone at the Exxon on Highway 73 and Beatties Ford Road.

Police said during the argument, James Lowery shot Ian MacCullum in the thigh. McCullum is expected to survive, police said.

Officers believe Lowery took off in a 1994 tan 4-door Mercedes. If you know where he may be, call Huntersville Police at 704-875-6542.
