CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
It started when troopers tried to pull over the driver for speeding on I-485 in northeast Charlotte.
Police said the driver kept going then jumped out of his SUV on Albemarle Road.
Officers said he ran for about three miles before police arrested him at the Food Lion on Highway 51 in Mint Hill.
There is no word yet on what charges will be filed.
