Kellie Pickler Appears On "Extreme Makeover"

Country music sensation and Albemarle, NC native Kellie Pickler is set to appear on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" Sunday, November 8th at 8pm on Channel 9. She will be joining the crew as a celebrity volunteer, and will help to build a home for the Terpenning Family in Beavercreek, Ohio. James Terpenning, a computer specialist at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, is known at work and in the community as an inspirational role model who always helps others but never asks for help himself. Pickler will give a special performance at the family's final reveal.

Kellie Pickler was a finalist on "Gimme The Mike Charlotte" and gained national attention after finishing sixth on "American Idol." She recently landed her first Top 10 country hit with the second single from her new album, "Best Days Of Your Life" (co-written by Taylor Swift).

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is a show that helps deserving families rebuild their homes in just seven days. The show airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Channel 9.
