CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

More than 300 people in north Charlotte don't have power Saturday because of a hit-and-run crash.

Police said a driver ran into a power pole around 7 p.m. Isenhour Street, near Statesville Avenue.

The driver then took off, leaving the wrecked car.

Duke Energy crews are there working on restoring power. Neighbors said they were told the power should be turned back on around midnight.
