CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Parents and students at Reid Park Academy came together to stand against bullying Thursday night.

Using the theme "Wrapped in Love," students covered classrooms with pictures of hands, feet, and words meant to push back the violence.

"It's not just thestudents, but teachers, counselors, administration. It will take all of us to make a difference," said school counselor Dr. Wanda Webb.

The school was rocked by disturbing YouTube videos featuring kids fighting in the nearby Clanton Park neighborhood.

PTA President Anthony Grier said the anti-bullying movement on campus can have a positive impact on what goes on outside.

"Promoting anti-bullying is great because you never know what your kids feel inside," Grier said. "We as parents, teachers, and principals need to ask them what are their opinions on things."
