GASTON COUNTY, N.C. —
One doctor is speaking out against the new administration at Caromont Health in Gaston County. A county commissioner sent Eyewitness News a scathing letter written by an anonymous physician. It stated the administration is "running the hospital into the ground" and "deserves to be fired." The letter alleges "medical errors are being made frequently" and it's "only a matter of time before a patient dies." The hospital and its administration faced criticism since it unveiled its new slogan "cheat death" last week. There's was so much backlash leaders pulled the plug on the tag line over the weekend.
