Apartment maintenance employee attacked with air freshener

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

An apartment maintenance employee told police he was attacked with air freshener when he tried to change a tenant's air filters.

According to police, the worker stated that the tenant refused to let him into her apartment on Rodman Street in southeast Charlotte.

He said the woman sprayed him in the eyes with air freshener and slammed the door against him, police said.

There are no charges against the woman at this time.
