McDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. —
Autopsy results have determine that the woman found dead in a ravine earlier this month was a missing Gaston County woman who disappeared in October.Belmont police department detectives believe Elizabeth Stonger’s car plunged 300 feet to the bottom of a McDowell County ravine after going off a dead end road.Detectives said the case is still under investigation.The State Bureau of Investigation is also involved in the case.
