CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
The top weather story is the approaching cold front and upcoming rain chances for Thursday. The key to the weekend forecast hangs on the front’s ability to clear the area. There will be a few showers in the mountains Wednesday, but not many.Showers may pick up over the High Country Wednesday night.Clouds will build up over Charlotte Thursday, but rain will be slow to arrive. Expect only a few showers by the afternoon and early evening. The front will move on from there and allow drier air to move in on Friday through the weekend.
