STATESVILLE, N.C. —
Three church members injured in a bus crash in Tennessee are back in Statesville recovering at a rehabilitation center.
Norma Hellard, Steve Swaim and Ed McLelland are all at Autumn Care.
Swaim's wife is still hospitalized in Tennessee and McLelland lost his wife in the crash.
Front Street Baptist Church has asked that people hold off on visiting the victims for now.
The church said they still have a long road of recovery.
Six people from the church died in the crash.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating what happened, but preliminary results show a tire on the church's bus malfunctioned, causing it to lose control and hit a tractor-trailer and SUV on Interstate 40 in Jefferson County.
The driver of the SUV and the tractor-trailer also died in the crash.
