Civil rights leaders to march on General Assembly over poverty issue

NORTH CAROLINA —

On Saturday, civil rights leaders will march on the General Assembly to demand lawmakers do something to end poverty across North Carolina.

Leaders said the march is a continuation of Martin Luther King Jr.'s work.

They said they expect thousands of people from across the country to join them as they call for economic justice.
