CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. —

Scenes and people in Cleveland County could become a regular site on cable television.

Producers of a new comedy series told the Gaston Gazette they will be filming scenes for the show at the Cleveland County Speedway on Friday.

The show, called “Racing Nowhere,” focuses on racing and could be picked up by HBO, Cinemax, Showtime or the BBC.
