CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Rain is still on track to arrive in the Carolinas Thursday afternoon.The clouds are already in place Thursday morning and will keep temperatures down in the 40s, said Severe Weather 9's Keith Monday.The morning commute will be dry for everyone, but the afternoon and evening drive could be a different story.Steady showers will move in late afternoon and likely pick up even more Thursday evening.Rainfall totals will range between one half to one inch for most areas.While most of the rain will be out by Friday morning, a small chance for a leftover shower remains through the day.Much drier weather arrives for the weekend with plenty of sunshine. Highs will warm to the upper 50s Saturday and Sunday.
