CMS bus involved in accident, no students injured

Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools bus No. 577 was involved in an accident Friday afternoon, but none of the students were injured, district officials said.

According to a CMS spokeswoman, there were 41 students on the bus at the time of the accident. A Medic crew is headed to the scene.

The accident happened at West Sugar Creek and Soffley roads around 3:30 p.m.
