CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
High school students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will learn the importance of not drinking and driving.
Crews will show ninth-graders how hard it is to drive while impaired by giving them simulation goggles.
The teens will have to wear the goggles while driving golf carts through a course.
It is all part of a substance abuse training awareness program that first started at Butler High School.
