CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

On Monday the committee in charge of finding someone new to replace Charlotte's old city manager will meet.

Earlier this month, Channel 9 was there as Mayor Anthony Foxx made it clear he wanted a nationwide search to get the strongest candidate possible.

The current city manager, Curt Walton, plans to retire in December.
