IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. —
Three family members are facing drug charges after a three-month investigation.
James Bryant Caudill, 41, and his wife, Kelly Dawn Caudill, 40, and their 20-year-old daughter, Kayla Dawn Caudill, were arrested Tuesday on charges of maintaining a dwelling to keep/sell controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. James Caudill and his wife were also charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II.
A fourth person, Samantha D. Cash, 22, of Oakleaf Road, Harmony, was charged with charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II.
The Iredell County Sheriff’s office launched an investigation three months ago after receiving information about the possible sale of oxycodone from the Caudill residence, said Sheriff Phil Redmond.
The narcotics division used surveillance and an undercover officer to investigate the complaint.
Redmond said a search warrant was executed on Tuesday, and detectives seized oxycodone and some funds paid by an undercover officer during the investigation.
Cash, Redmond said, took part in the trafficking operation from the Caudill residence, and she was arrested Wednesday.
Bond for James Caudill was set at $15,000, while his wife and daughter were ordered held in lieu of a $10,000 bond each. Cash’s bond was set at $3,500.
This investigating is ongoing and further arrests may be made.
