CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. —
Caldwell County sheriff's deputies arrested 12 drug suspects after a weeklong investigation.
Deputies said during the investigation, investigators purchased or seized more than three pounds of marijuana, 203 illegal prescription pills, 1.5 grams of meth, a firearm, $800 in cash and various other drug items.
The total street value was estimated at $17,305.
"Within the past year, ICE Unit Agents conducted numerous investigations, including undercover purchases of illegal controlled substances and searches of suspects' premises. Those investigations led to these arrests," said Sheriff Alan C. Jones.
Deputies arrested Denny Dula, 25; Dennis Stillwell, 52; Kayla Poovey, 22; April Cogdell, 27; Brian Smith, 27; Paul Marsh, 42; Lisa Hall, 21; David Wilson, 39; James Williams, 38; Tracy Kaylor, 43; Megan Nichols, 25; and Amanda Kaylor, 28.
