Deputies: Pellet from pellet gun penetrates baby's skull

SOUTH CAROLINA —

A South Carolina toddler is in the hospital after being shot in the head at close range with a pellet gun.

Anderson County Sheriff's Deputies said the 2-year-old's brother was putting the gun away when it went off just feet from the baby.

Deputies said the pellet penetrated the baby's skull. They said he is awake and talking.
