YORK COUNTY, S.C. —

Channel 9 is still waiting to find out whether a teen will be charged after deputies said he was caught selling fake cellphone cases on Craigslist.

Deputies said the teen tried to sell the cases to an undercover officer.

After the bust, deputies said they went to the teen’s home in Tega Cay where they found $15,000 worth of knock-off cases inside.

“Everyone said they did not know that they were counterfeit, although they had been selling them for a year on Craigslist,” said York County Sheriff Deputy Trent Faris.

Deputies said they are still looking for others who could be involved.
