Vice president Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will be in Charlotte on Tuesday and will attend the evening program of the Democratic National Convention.

The White House released Dr. Jill Biden's appearance schedule for Wednesday and Thursday of the DNC.

Wednesday, September 5th, 2012

11:10 a.m. – Dr. Jill Biden will speak at the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Caucus Meeting. 

11:30 a.m. - Dr. Jill Biden will speak at the Native American Council Meeting.
 
1:30 p.m. - Dr. Jill Biden will speak at the Youth Council Meeting.
 
2:10 p.m. – Dr. Jill Biden will speak at the Veterans and Military Families Council Meeting.

Evening – The Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden will attend the Democratic National Convention Evening Program.
 
Thursday, September 6th, 2012

Morning - First lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden will help pack care packages containing comfort items like shampoo, razors and wash cloths for service members returning from overseas deployments who often don’t have access to these types of items on their first nights back in the United States.

11:35 a.m. - First lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden will speak at the Women’s Caucus Meeting.

12:10 p.m. - Dr. Jill Biden will speak at the LGBT Caucus Meeting.

9:25 p.m. - Dr. Jill Biden will speak to the Democratic National Convention. This event is open press for pre-credentialed media only.
