Much more sunshine is in store Wednesday with dramatically warmer temperatures.
Highs will reach close to 60 degrees in the afternoon, but it won’t last as a much colder weather pattern is about to move in for the weekend.
The Charlotte area will stay dry through the end of the week. The mountains will see some light snow off and on starting Wednesday night, through the weekend. Accumulations appear to be low.
As the next wave of cold air reaches the metro this weekend, some light precipitation may accompany it on Saturday afternoon and evening.
Highs will only reach the 40s this weekend with lows back in the upper 20s early Sunday.
