Jury in John Edwards trial asks for 20 exhibits

GREENSBORO, N.C. —

New video has surfaced of John Edwards at a baseball game on Wednesday night.

While waiting on the jury, the former U.S. Senator and two-time Democratic presidential candidate took in some ACC baseball.

The 2012 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Championship opened in Greensboro.  The stadium is about two blocks from the courthouse.

On Thursday, the jury is asking to see about 20 more evidence exhibits during its fifth day of deliberations.

On Wednesday, the jury did not ask to review any other evidence, and so far, has made no requests on Thursday either.

Edwards arrived at the courthouse on Thursday with his parents and daughter.

Prosecutors said Edwards misused nearly $1 million from two wealthy donors to hide his affair and protect his 2008 White House campaign.

The defense argues the money was gifts and that he didn’t believe he was breaking any laws.

Edwards is facing up to 30 years in prison, though legal experts say if convicted, he would more likely be facing five years at most.
