ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. —
Federal investigators are renewing their calls for information in the case of missing Rowan County teen, Erica Parsons.The FBI announced Friday afternoon it still needs help from the public to put together a timeline of when Erica disappeared.Channel 9 reporter Kathryn Burcham was in Salisbury where it appears the family is back living at the home.Sandy Parsons was seen twice Friday at the home. Despite the family still removing items from the home and taking them to an undisclosed location, when asked if they are again living at the home, Sandy Parsons said they are trying.TIMELINE: Erica Parsons caseSandy and her daughter, Brook, removed multiple tubs of items from the garage behind the family’s home.Authorities said Casey and Sandy Parsons told them Erica went to live in Asheville with her biological grandmother, but investigators now say that information wasn’t true.Friday marks 38 days since Erica was first reported missing by her brother, James.On Thursday, the Parsons’ attorney, Carlyle Sherrill, told Channel 9 if his clients are criminally charged, they may no longer be able to afford his services.Erica’s adoptive mother, Casey, has not been seen in several days, but neighbors told Channel 9 both she and Sandy often return to the home late at night after the news trucks leave the neighborhood.For complete coverage on the Erica Parsons case click here.
