CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
A fire broke out at a south Charlotte home Thursday, Jan. 10.
Firefighters responded to the fire on Wedgewood Drive, where heavy smoke could be seen.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire, officials said.
One cat was saved from the fire, but another cat went missing.
The missing cat was later found almost two weeks later at another house down the street, the owner said.
Firefighters have not yet released the cause of the fire.
