The Rock Hill Fire Department responded to a fire at apartments in Rock Hill.
Eight apartments were affected at Yorktown Village Apartments near Ebinport Road.
An official said the whole building will likely be a total loss.
Ten American Red Cross volunteers responded to a multifamily apartment fire on Ebinport Road in Rock Hill on Friday night, providing food, clothing and medicine for 15 adults and three children.
Through the help of Food Lion, Sonic Restaurants, and Papa John's Pizza, volunteers fed 45 emergency personnel and the disaster victims. Red Cross volunteers will continue to work with the families to meet their needs.
Red Cross volunteers will be staffing the clubhouse at Yorktown Village Apartments at 2018 Ebinport Road from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday to receive donations for those affected.
Of particular help will be gift cards for the adults and gift cards and appropriate toys for a 5-year-old girl, 11-year-old boy, and 2-month-old infant boy.
