On Friday, the executive director told Channel 9 his agency has an excellent track record of locating missing children.
“We find children now faster and better than at any other time in our history,” said Bob Lowery. “Most children are found, I would say, 98 to 99 percent (of the time), so we can’t give up hope on finding this child.”
The agency has received a few tip calls in the Parsons case.
Lowery said they have been turned over to investigators.
Another vigil is planned for Sunday at the Rowan County Courthouse starting at 7 p.m.
Organizers want people to bring their own candles.
