The massive Powerball jackpot will go to a winner in Florida, but a Fort Mill store sold a $2 million winning ticket.
Eyewitness News had quite a surprise when going to talk to the manager.
The sign on the window showed that the Powerball jackpot has plummeted back down to $40 million, but the store, called K One Mart on Highway 160 in Fort Mill, missed selling the big ticket by one number.
They sold a $2 million winner to someone who has not come forward yet.
Manager Angela Oh broke down in tears when Eyewitness News first told her the news.
"I'm shaking, I'm happy to have a winner from this store, thank you so much. I don't know I just thank you, thank you," she said.
The store gets a 1 percent commission for selling the winning ticket. In this case, it is $20,000.
Eyewitness News asked them what they planned to do with that money and they responded by saying they will throw a party.
