Fort Mill woman charged with trying to shoplift baby items from Target

The Herald in Rock Hill

FORT MILL, S.C. —

A Fort Mill woman has been accused of trying to steal hundreds of dollars' worth of baby items from a local store, police say.

Brittany Rachelle Milliron, 27, has been charged with shoplifting, according to police documents. She was also cited for having no driver's license.

An employee with Target on Dave Lyle Boulevard called police to report an attempted shoplifter was in custody, according to a Rock Hill police report. He said that she had filled a cart with nursery accessories, a baby swing, a stroller, a frozen pizza and a 12-pack of soda, totaling $340.39. She pushed the cart past the registers.

She then walked to the registers, paid for a pack of gum and attempted to walk out of the store with the cart, the report states. She was detained by the employee.

The woman told officers she had driven to Target without a valid driver's license, the report states.
