MONROE, N.C. —
A Monroe man that was killed by a suspected drunk driver will be remembered this week.
The family of Michael Aycoth is now planning his services.
On Monday, Robert Jones will face a judge, charged with involuntary manslaughter and felony death by vehicle in the crash that killed Aycoth,
Troopers say Jones was going 80 mph on Highway 601 when he rear-ended Aycoth early Friday morning.
Visitation for Aycoth will be held on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory in Monroe. A celebration of life will follow at 6.
