A gasoline tanker has crashed into a corner store in Stanly County, officials said.

STANLY COUNTY, N.C. —

A flatbed truck crashed into a corner store in Stanly County, officials said.

Some injuries were reported, but the extent of the injuries is not known.

The building is located at the corner of Highway 200 and Oak Grove Road in Stanfield Road.

The truck was carrying a tank that is used to spray chicken houses, officials said.

Officials said there was also a small chemical leak from the crash, but nothing serious.

Chopper 9 flew over the scene where the truck was still inside the building.

The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital.
