Around 1:10 p.m. Friday, a school resource officer at Nation Ford High School was advised of a threat directed toward that school, which was initiated via a Facebook posting, according to a news release from Fort Mill police.
The school was placed on lockdown and Fort Mill Police Department officers responded to the area.
During initial investigation, it was determined that the person transmitting the threat was believed to be Christian Taylor Webb, 19, and that he currently lives in Pineville, N.C. The Pineville Police Department was notified and joined in the investigation.
Officers of the Pineville Police Department found Webb and took him into custody. After the arrest, FMPD advised the school administration and the lockdown was discontinued without further incident.
