IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. —
The case of an Iredell County deputy accused of harassing two women is now moving to federal court.
The deputy’s attorney said Friday the move is because some of the allegations are under federal jurisdiction.
Suzanne Wick filed a lawsuit in March, saying Deputy Ben Jenkins sexually harassed her while working on her domestic violence case.
Earlier this week, a second woman came forward with similar allegations.
The women are also suing the sheriff, claiming he’s responsible for the deputy’s behavior.
