CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Most people think of food drives around Thanksgiving and Christmas, but one local woman wants to change that.Melody Dargon is heading up the Halloween for Hunger project and has partnered with Loaves and Fishes. She wants volunteers to go out and trick or treat for canned goods on Halloween.“As adults, we don’t really get to go trick or treating, but this project allows us to be kids again (and) go out and help at the same time,” Dargon said. After Halloween you can drop off your canned goods at two spots in Charlotte. For more information on how to donate please click here.
