MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. —

A Mount Holly man is facing child abuse charges after police said he abused his 1- and 2-year-old stepchildren.

Officers arrested Jackie Nanney, 27, after finding bruises all over the toddlers during a Department of Social Services welfare check.

The 1-year-old also had a broken rib.

Two other children, ages 6 and 10, also live in the home on Walk-A-Long Way. Police don't think they were abused.
