CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
A man who was hurt during a shootout involving a famous rapper in Charlotte will get hundreds of thousands of dollars in a lawsuit.
Antonio Stukes sued Waka Flocka Flame’s management company and won $500,000.
Stukes and some friends said they were just trying to talk to the rapper when the security guards started shooting.
A bullet hit Stukes in the shoulder, police said.
The security guards said they thought it was a robbery attempt during Waka Flocka’s visit to Charlotte in 2011.
Stukes is currently in jail for charges related to a robbery in south Charlotte last month.
