ROCK HILL, S.C. —
A Rock Hill mother already convicted of leaving her 11-month-old in a bush for hours is now on the run. Officers said they tried to pull Kelly Cameron over on Cherry Road Friday night, but she would not stop. Police said she tossed a bag of marijuana out of the window while leading them on a 2-mile chase. They said that they need help tracking her down. She is on probation for child neglect. Back in August, neighbors heard her child screaming in the middle of the night. They found the toddler alone in a bush on Furr Street. Cameron admitted to leaving the child there so she could hang out with her fiancé.
