RALEIGH, N.C. —
In just a few months, drivers in North Carolina might get some sticker shock when they get the vehicle registration bill in the mail.Starting in May, North Carolina drivers will get a combined bill for Department of Motor Vehicles registration and county tax bills. The bills will have to be paid at the same time. The money will just go the DMV and then the DMV will distribute money to the counties.
