NC State Representative's trial moved to Feb.

A federal judge signed an order to push the trial of a former North Carolina state representative accused of theft and money laundering to next year.

Stephen Laraque's trial will begin in February.

Proceedings were expected to start in two weeks.

Laraque is from Kingston.

Prosecutors and the defense team asked to postpone the trial because of the complicated matters in the case.
