CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
On Saturday morning, many neighborhoods in north Charlotte and University City are waking up to what looks like snow on the streets, but it is actually frozen fog. An Eyewitness News producer found a fluffy layer of ice crystals covering Armitage Drive in the Winchester Neighborhood. Steps from homes are also covered and very slick as of Saturday morning. So are the decks -- where Eyewitness News even saw icicles.
