CHARLOTTE, N. C. —
Melanie Elias noticed a man coming down a hill on South Kings Drive on a bike very slowly. She observed his actions as kind of calculated.
Elias said she was walking her dog around 2 p.m. Wednesday when the man stopped in front of her.
"He had exposed himself, and was fondling himself and saying some really lewd things," Elias said.
She said she screamed at him, and the man rode away.
"I don't know the extent he would take things if he really had an opportunity and there's definitely a risk, I think," she said.
Elias described the man as a white male in his 30s with light brown hair. He was on a blue bike, wearing jeans, a black jacket and a baseball cap.
When a nearby apartment complex spread the word through email about what happened to Elias, another woman came forward.
