There could soon be new types of diplomas for high school students that may not want to go to college.
Gov. Pat McCrory and state leaders want to create course plans that prepare students for careers that don’t require higher education.
The Senate passed the bill Thursday and it now heads to the house.
If passed, graduates in 2015 could have a seal that says “career ready” on their diploma.
