SALISBURY, N.C. —
The adoptive family of missing Rowan County teenager Erica Parsons has been evicted from their Salisbury home.Channel 9 obtained the eviction notice Wednesday ordering Sandy and Casey Parsons to leave.It was filed by Sandy Parsons’ father and his wife.The notice said the Parsons skipped out on $900 in property taxes, $2,600 in rent and abandoned the house last month.They returned soon after that.The notice said they owe Sandy’s father nearly $26,000.The Parsons are due in court in two weeks.On Tuesday, Channel 9 went inside the home for the first time.Casey Parsons showed us one of the two bedrooms Erica lived in before her disappearance in 2011.She was reported missing just two months ago.The Parsons said they wanted to move out because they had been receiving death threats and had two break-ins.For complete coverage of the Erica Parsons case visit our special section here.
