CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Firefighters safely removed three Molotov cocktails from a motel room on Independence Boulevard Friday morning.
The explosives were found in the Econo-Lodge near the Bojangles Coliseum around 3:45 a.m.
Firefighters said the bottles were filled with alcohol or gasoline.
Molotov cocktails are considered dangerous and used to start fires.
Officers and firefighters were clearing the scene around 5:30 a.m.
Police told Channel 9 they still have not arrested anyone, but they are looking for the person who left the devices in the room.
No one was hurt.
