HICKORY, N.C. —
Police in Hickory are trying to figure out who opened fire on a house with a mother and infant inside.
Investigators said they found nine bullet holes in the rear of the home on 14th Street NE Monday morning.
The mother and baby were not hit by the gunfire.
Police said they are looking at whether the shooting was a result of a domestic situation.
Investigators said the woman who lives at the home waited more than three hours before reporting the shooting.
