CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Police have made an arrest in a robbery that happened in a parking deck at Carolinas Medical Center.

Early Tuesday morning, a woman was walking to her car in the parking deck when two armed men approached her with a gun drawn, according to investigators. Police said they took her purse and ran away.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said detectives got a tip that the vehicle suspected of being used in the robbery was at a home on Taylor Drive. The owner of the vehicle, 19-year-old Joshua Wilson, was then interviewed by robbery detectives, according to investigators.

Wilson was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony conspiracy.

Police said they’re working to identify the second suspect involved in the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
