CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
A bicyclist died after being hit by a truck in the NoDa area on Monday morning, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
The crash happened around 10 a.m. Monday on Jordan Place, between North Davidson Street and North Brevard Street. Witnesses said the bicyclist made a sudden left turn from the right edge of the lane, into the path of a truck traveling in the same direction, according to police.
Police said the bicyclist, 47-year-old Woodrow Franklin Jr., was taken to Carolinas Medical Center - Main, where he later died.
